The Versi Closure™is a device which makes the closure of the donor area a much easier task. After donor harvesting, the hooks of the Versi Closure™ can be attached to each side of the wound and clamped together. By placing three or four Closures in series, the edges can be apposed along the length of the donor area making suturing or stapling of the wound easier. If excessive wound tension is present, the Versi Closures™ can be applied and brought together gradually while the recipient sites are being made. This delay allows for the tumescence to subside and produces intraoperative tissue expansion. The previously tight closure now becomes much easier to close. This versatile instrument can also be used as a tool for intraoperative tissue expansion at other surgical sites.
